Ellis

Ellis founded her brand in 2018 with a small collection of pieces, made entirely by Ellis herself. In those early years, every element of the business; from designing and making to packing orders and building relationships with clients, was held within her own hands.

As the work began to find its audience and the studio grew, so too did the need for a team who could share Ellis’ vision and bring their own expertise to the business. Finding the right people became an important part of the brand’s evolution: individuals who understand the value of craftsmanship, care deeply about the details and believe in the spirit behind the jewellery.

Eight years on, in 2026, Ellis Mhairi Cameron has grown into a close-knit team, each bringing their own knowledge, skill and perspective to the studio. While the brand has evolved considerably since those first pieces, its spirit remains rooted in the same hands-on, personal approach.

Behind every collection, commission and finished piece is a group of people who make the work possible; from goldsmithing and diamond setting to operations, wholesale and the stories we share beyond the studio.

Meet the people behind Ellis Mhairi Cameron, and discover the roles they play in bringing each piece to life.

Allana

Global Wholesale Manager

Ellis and Allana first met in New York in February 2022 at a jewellery show, where an immediate connection quickly grew into a lasting creative partnership.

Since then, Allana has played an integral role in introducing Ellis Mhairi Cameron to a discerning international audience, carefully nurturing relationships with independent retailers and curating a network of stockists that reflects the character and values of the brand.

Her approach is personal and considered; building long-standing relationships with exceptional stores and ensuring that the collections are presented with the same care and integrity found in the studio.

Today, Ellis Mhairi Cameron can be discovered through a select network of independent stockists across the UK, US and internationally, including Esqueleto, Liberty London and TWIST.

Each stockist is chosen with intention; places with their own distinct point of view, a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and an understanding of jewellery as something to be collected, worn and lived with.

Amy

PR & Brand Co-ordinator

Since Ellis and Amy first met in 2021, Amy has become an integral part of the Ellis Mhairi Cameron story, helping to shape how the brand is seen, understood and experienced beyond the studio.

Working closely with Ellis, she brings the world behind the jewellery to life; from developing the brand’s narrative and sharing its collections with the international jewellery and fashion press, to cultivating considered brand partnerships and bringing creative campaigns and shoots together.

Her approach is rooted in a deep understanding of the brand and its aesthetic, ensuring that every story, image and collaboration feels thoughtful, distinctive and true to Ellis’ vision.

Since working together, Ellis Mhairi Cameron has been featured across leading publications including The New York Times, Vogue, Financial Times HTSI and Times LUXX, alongside a growing network of editorial and creative collaborations.

Amy plays an important role in ensuring that the stories, craftsmanship and ideas behind each collection are given the same care and consideration as the jewellery itself.

Ken

Head of Operations

As Head of Operations, Ken is the thread connecting every stage of the Ellis Mhairi Cameron studio; from the earliest stages of production through to the moment a finished piece reaches its wearer.

With fifteen years’ experience in Product Design, he brings a highly considered eye to the way the business operates, balancing precision and practicality with a deep understanding of the brand’s aesthetic and values. His role spans production, logistics, systems and the many details behind the scenes that allow the studio to create and deliver each piece to the highest standard.

As Ellis’ partner of twelve years, Ken has been part of the journey from the very beginning, witnessing the evolution of the brand from a small independent practice into an internationally recognised jewellery brand.

He formally joined the business in 2025, bringing that intimate knowledge of the brand into his role as a key member of the team. His focus is on building the foundations for the next chapter of Ellis Mhairi Cameron; carefully growing the business while protecting its’ craftsmanship and distinctive visual identity.

Paul

Goldsmith

Paul is an exceptionally skilled goldsmith, with a wealth of technical knowledge across traditional jewellery-making techniques including fabrication, soldering and hand finishing.

He joined Ellis Mhairi Cameron in 2023, at a point when the growing demand from clients and international stockists called for the studio to expand its making team. Since then, he has become an integral part of the workshop and the meticulous process behind each piece.

With a deep understanding of the craft and an exacting eye for detail, Paul brings both precision and patience to his work. From the earliest stages of fabrication through to the final polish, every element is handled with care, ensuring the distinctive forms and textures of each piece are beautifully realised.

His technical expertise allows the studio to continue exploring increasingly complex and sculptural designs, while retaining the hand-finished character and individuality that sit at the heart of Ellis Mhairi Cameron.

Quietly working behind the scenes, Paul is an important part of the craftsmanship that brings each collection to life.

Sean

Stone Setting

With more than thirty years’ experience in the jewellery industry, Sean brings an exceptional depth of knowledge and technical mastery to the studio, specialising in the intricate art of diamond setting.

He began working with Ellis in 2019, as diamonds first became an integral part of her designs. What began as a technical collaboration has developed into a close creative relationship, with Sean playing an important role in translating Ellis’ sculptural forms into finely considered settings.

Together, they have continued to refine the distinctive, erosive settings that have become synonymous with the Ellis Mhairi Cameron aesthetic; balancing the organic character of the gold with the precision required to set each diamond securely and beautifully.

Sean’s experience and meticulous approach allow even the most unconventional stones and intricate forms to be realised with confidence. His work brings an almost imperceptible precision to each piece; ensuring the diamonds sit exactly as intended while retaining the raw, tactile quality of the design.

His craftsmanship is an essential part of the journey from concept to finished jewel, quietly underpinning the detail, integrity and longevity of every piece that leaves the studio.
