This website is operated by Ellis Mhairi Cameron, a London-based fine jewellery studio. Throughout the site, the terms “we,” “us” and “our” refer to Ellis Mhairi Cameron. We offer this website, including all information, tools and services available to you conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.

By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms by posting updates to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes.

2. Eligibility |

To purchase from this site, you must be at least the age of majority in your country of residence and possess a valid credit or debit card issued by a bank acceptable to us. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

3. Product Information and Availability |

We make every effort to represent our jewellery and its colours as accurately as possible. However, due to variations in screen settings, device displays, and browser calibrations, the colours you see on your screen may differ slightly from the actual piece.

Each Ellis Mhairi Cameron design is handcrafted, which means no two pieces are exactly alike. Subtle variations in texture, tone, and finish are part of the process and part of the charm. This may result in small differences between the item you receive and the product photos shown online. Stone and metal colours may also vary slightly, and sizes are accurate within reasonable limits.

If you’d like to see additional images or have specific questions before making a purchase, please don’t hesitate to get in touch as we are always happy to help.

Availability of items may change without notice. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time.

4. Orders and Payment |

All prices on our website are listed in GBP and include UK VAT where applicable. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. International customers are responsible for any import duties, customs taxes, or fees applicable in their country.

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. In such cases, we will notify you and refund any payment received.

For made to order, bespoke and customised orders, we require a 50% fee of the total amount due, as confirmation of your order, before production can begin. This fee is non-refundable. At this point you will be committed to purchase and the order cannot be cancelled. The remainder will then need to be paid in full before collection or dispatch of the order.

5. Lead Times and Shipping |

Each piece is individually crafted; in stock items can be shipped immediately, whereas made-to-order items can take up to 4-6 weeks for production. Please refer to individual product pages for exact lead times. Delivery times will vary based on destination and shipping method. For time-sensitive orders, please contact us directly before placing an order.

Once dispatched, we are not responsible for delays caused by couriers or customs authorities.

6. Returns, Exchanges & Warranty |

We hope you will be absolutely delighted with your jewellery. If for any reason you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are happy to offer an exchange or credit note within 30 days of purchase, in keeping with UK law.

Alternatively, we will refund a sale made through this website if it is returned unworn, in perfect condition, and in its original packaging within 14 working days of your receipt of the order. If your order arrives back with us later than 14 working dates, we can only offer an exchange or credit note.

Purchases exempt from both the refund and exchange policies are:

• Made to order pieces
• Commissioned pieces (bespoke)
• Customised pieces (ie. resized rings, custom chain lengths, engraved jewellery etc)
  
  

Ellis Mhairi Cameron is not liable for any items that are lost, stolen, or damaged in transit. These responsibilities rest with the customer. For this reason, we strongly recommend using insured Special Delivery for UK returns, and a secure, fully tracked courier service for international returns.

In cases where customs declarations are incorrectly marked and result in additional charges, these fees may be passed on to the customer. Please note that such instances may also delay the returns process. Return shipping costs are non-refundable. If your original order included complimentary shipping, the initial shipping charge will be deducted from your refund.

For security and fraud prevention purposes, refunds will only be issued via the original payment method.

Warranty

Every piece is designed to be worn and loved everyday, but as with all fine jewellery, it should be treated with care. We provide a one year warranty on all pieces of jewellery from the date of purchase, provided it has not been worked on by another jeweller or the damage does not go beyond accepted patterns of wear.

Beyond the warranty period, we will quote for any necessary repairs on a case by case basis. Should an issue be determined to be a manufacturing fault within the first 12 months after purchase, Ellis Mhairi Cameron will not charge for the repairs involved.

7. Gift Vouchers |

Ellis Mhairi Cameron gift vouchers are available in values ranging from £500 - £9000. Gift certificates are valid for 1 year from purchase and can be redeemed online or at an appointment in the studio.

Our gift certificates cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash. They are non-refundable and can only be redeemed at www.ellismhairicameron.com or at our London studio using their unique code. They cannot be redeemed at any of our stockists.

8. Intellectual Property |

All content on this website (including imagery, text, graphics, and designs) is the intellectual property of Ellis Mhairi Cameron and is protected by copyright and other applicable laws. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute or otherwise exploit any content without express written permission..

9. Privacy |

Your submission of personal information through the website is governed by our Privacy Policy. We respect your privacy and take the protection of your personal data seriously.

10. Limitation of Liability |

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, this website or any products purchased through it.

11. Governing Law |

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
